The Canadian Tulip Festival was established to celebrate the historic Royal gift of tulips from the Dutch to Canadians during the Second World War as a symbol of international friendship. The Festival preserves the memorable role of the Canadian troops in the liberation of the Netherlands and Europe, as well as commemorates the birth of Dutch Princess Margriet in Ottawa during World War II—the only royal personage ever born in Canada.
Featuring curated vendors offering handcrafted items in a Tulip Theme, along with our own Canadian Tulip Festival Merchandise. Many of the handcrafters who were going to be in the Tulip Pavilion have now joined us online.

At Sustainable North Grenville, we’re ramping up the plans and preparations for our annual Sustainability Fair and Market and Electric Car Show. This will mark the 13th year and it will take place on Sunday April 19 at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

The Spring 2020 Ottawa Parent & Child Expo takes place April 4 & 5, 2020 at the Nepean Sportsplex. Visit with over 125 #local parenting exhibitors, see fantastic main stage entertainment, meet & greet your favourite mascots and characters, and have fun!
