The Deep River Farmers’ Market was established in 2012 by Andrew Bergeron and Janice Francisco. Their vision was to open a sustainable market offering fresh in-season produce and locally produced food in the community of Deep River. Run by a group of local volunteers passionate about buying local and cognizant of the economic benefits of doing so, the market promotes Renfrew County and the quality of life and breadth of services available in the Town of Deep River.
Strut for Strays is an annual Walkathon and Pet Festival. It is a day filled with Pet activities to raise money to help the homeless and abandoned animals in our community. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need your support.
The market showcases area growers, artists, artisans, makers and bakers plus gives residents and tourists the opportunity to shop local.
I’m a volunteer and organizing their 1st Craft & Vendor Fundraiser Event. All vendor fees will go directly to the CP CORE Youth Services & Centre.
The Manotick Farmer’s Market is a “producer-only” market. As a consumer, you will know exactly who produced the meats, cheeses, vegetables, grains and baked goods on sale at the market. You will have the chance to speak to the producer and learn a bit about their ideas about growing food.
