The Manotick Farmer’s Market is a “producer-only” market. As a consumer, you will know exactly who produced the meats, cheeses, vegetables, grains and baked goods on sale at the market. You will have the chance to speak to the producer and learn a bit about their ideas about growing food.
We aren’t your ordinary market. We are a market with a social purpose; supporting new and local vendors with a “donate what you can” model raising funds to support grants for Bethany Hope Centre’s Hope Ventures Entrepreneurship and Employment Training Program.
Showcases local products from Eganville & surrounding areas. Every Friday 2-6 pm, early June -Thanksgiving, Legion Field, 8 Foran St (at curling club). Several fun theme days occur throughout the season.
Come join us for the Spring edition of the Savoir Faire at Mountain View Farm out in Luskville, Quebec. The farm overlooks the Eardley Escarpment and is across the road from the Gatineau Park and a couple of trails. Come get some fresh country air, support some local artisans and make a day of it!
For three days in June, thousands of people from Blackburn and outlying areas will be at the 48th annual Blackburn Funfair. Thanks to volunteers, local businesses, and a fabulous community, the Blackburn Funfair keeps getting better.
In operation since 1971 the Blackburn FUNFAIR has always been a community icon.
