The Canadian Tulip Festival was established to celebrate the historic Royal gift of tulips from the Dutch to Canadians during the Second World War as a symbol of international friendship. The Festival preserves the memorable role of the Canadian troops in the liberation of the Netherlands and Europe, as well as commemorates the birth of Dutch Princess Margriet in Ottawa during World War II—the only royal personage ever born in Canada.
Featuring curated vendors offering handcrafted items in a Tulip Theme, along with our own Canadian Tulip Festival Merchandise. Many of the handcrafters who were going to be in the Tulip Pavilion have now joined us online.

Ours is a dynamic market, constantly changing. But what never changes is our commitment to locally produced, quality products! Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market is the perfectplace to talk to farmers who actually raise the products they bring to market and the processors and crafters who are passionate about the quality of what they offer.
