The Deep River Farmers’ Market was established in 2012 by Andrew Bergeron and Janice Francisco. Their vision was to open a sustainable market offering fresh in-season produce and locally produced food in the community of Deep River. Run by a group of local volunteers passionate about buying local and cognizant of the economic benefits of doing so, the market promotes Renfrew County and the quality of life and breadth of services available in the Town of Deep River. It provides unique opportunities for shopping, recreation and entertainment to the local and surrounding community.
