DESCRIPTION:We would like to acknowledge this event takes place on unceded\, unsurrendered Algonquin Territory. \nThe Feminist Twins are proud to present SOFT ART: PANEL & SHOW FT. FRIZZ KID \nToronto’s own artist\, activist\, and author Frizz Kid\, along with Ambivalently Yours (Montreal) and Lucky Little Queer (Ottawa) will be on a panel hosted by comedienne & artist\, Danielle Gregoire. Questions from the audience will be welcomed. Art show\, raffle\, and hangs to follow. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Event wraps up at 9:30.  \nSome things you can expect from our vendors include buttons\, pins\, zines\, prints and more. \nList of Vendors TBA! \n(More to be announced!) \nTickets to this event are $12 in advance\, $15 at the door. We have a handful of community tickets for those that cannot afford to attend otherwise.\nPlease note that there are NO REFUNDS for this event. \nIf you would like to donate\, your help will be appreciated and go towards ensuring more events! \n***  \nWho: The Feminist Twins are (actual) twins living here in Ottawa and we like to promote womxn and safe(r) space and events and cool people. We are basically a two person cheerleading squad (minus the pom poms).\nThank you to MediaStyle EmpowHer Network and Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW) for sponsoring this event! \n*** \nAccessibility:  \n-We are renting a ramp so that folks can get to Bate Hall from one of the entrances. Specific details to come.\n-Please be aware of scents (perfumes\, body spray\, etc) and how they may affect others. Keep all scents to a minimum.\n-There is no child minding at this event.\n-Please do not take pictures of people without their consent\, including the panel.\n-There is only street parking at this event.\n-If you are feeling unsafe for any reason\, please speak to a volunteer. They will be wearing name tags.\n-There are gender neutral washrooms on each floor of the venue.
