SUMMARY:Ottawa's Halloween Dog Parade
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday October 19th for a howling good time at Ottawa’s Halloween Dog Parade at Dovercourt Recreation Association (411 Dovercourt Ave.). Dogs and dog lovers from all over the National Capital region will be celebrating Halloween by dressing up their doggos (and perhaps themselves) for an afternoon of fun\, food and fido. There will be prizes for best costumed dogs\, celebrity judges\, silent auction\,  food and drinks\, bouncy castle\, doggy photo booth\, vendors\, and\, of course\, the Parade of Dogs.  \nThe Dog Parade is a fundraiser for Dovercourt ‘s Work and Volunteer Experience (W.A.V.E.) program for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities . W.A.V.E.’s objective is to raise awareness and opportunities for adults with autism through work placements and participation in the community.
