DESCRIPTION:Close your eyes and imagine this… \nAfter a long day of fall grape harvesting\, coming together and celebrating with your community over the best meal of the season! Long table supper\, breaking bread + chin chin\, live music\, and socializing knowing the hard work is over (for a bit).   \nLa Vendemmia is the fall grape harvest that happens when the grapes are ready at the peak of their ripeness-  the focus is on getting the grapes off the vine and into the vats. When the work is done there are large tables filled with food\, wine and hungry friends who worked hard with the promise of the season’s best meal waiting for them. \nWe are partnering with the Preston Street BIA to bring you our modern version of La Vendemmia on September 21st + 22nd in the heart of Little Italy.  \nAn open air marketplace celebrating the hard work + creativity of local artisans and Preston Street businesses. Live music program\, kids entertainment\, grape stomping\, learn to make pasta making station\, kids arts tent. The weekend will cap off with a long table supper featuring classic Italian food + drink from the local restaurants on the street (tickets will be limited\, on sale at the end of August).\nImmerse yourself in the local culture of our street with a modern celebration of the hard work of our community that makes Ottawa a creative city.
