DESCRIPTION:Looking for motivation to stick to your New Year’s Resolution? Or maybe just a fun day to get outside with your friends or family? \nCome and join us for the first annual Green Run Iroquois!! \nGreen Run Iroquois is being held in recognition of Earth Day (April 22) and will be run as a Green/Eco-Friendly event. The event will include the Cochrane Construction & Renovation 1km Kids Run and the Landex Earthworks 5km walk/run for all ages. All participants will have the option to time their run (including kids). The Landex Earthworks 5km run will start at the Locks following a scenic loop down to the beach and back. Participants and spectators are invited to wear Green in support of the event  \nThere will also be a vendor fair open to the public with local small businesses selling their goods. Please contact us if you are interested in having a table at the fair.  \nAll proceeds from the run will be donated to Earth Day Canada\, a national charity that inspires people across the country to connect with nature and build resilient communities. They work closely with school-aged children and youth through their EcoKids and EarthPLAY programs\, focused on putting self-directed outdoor play back into the lives of children and inspiring a future generation of earth-conscious culture.
